  • 1. • The 4-3 defense was created by Hall of Fame coach Tom Landry.• Defense consists of a fluid pass rusher, a good middle linebacker, and zone coverage.• Geared to stop the run, but has the players needed to force the quarterback into bad decisions.
  • 2. The 4-3 defense has fourdown lineman. Twodefensive ends and twodefensive tackles. Threelinebackers, a Mike, Will,and a Same linebacker. Twocornerbacks and twosafeties.
  • 3. - Jarad AllenKey players in the 4-3 defense are thedefensive ends. These players rush thequarterback and force the quarterback intobad decisions. Julius Peppers -
