The significance of his reign is difficult to overestimate as he strengthened the navy (from 5 to 53 ships), united West Wales and England and established the Protestant Church, declaring himself Supreme Head of the Church of England. </li></ul>

  8. 9. Catherine Howard <ul><li>Catherine Howard was a young, beautiful girl, who was really popular at court. She was 30-years-old younger than Henry VIII and had affairs with his servants. Catherine Howard was accused of infidelity and executed as her cousin, Anne Boleyn. </li></ul>
