RnB, whereas NME focus on punk rock, indie
music, etc. vibe and NME magazine are similar in some
ways as they both tend to take medium shots of the
artists put onto their magazine. The median age of
NME readers is 25 and for vibe it is 18, suggesting that
vibe magazine appeals to a younger audience.
Also, mostly men read NME magazine (70%), in
contrary to the 50%of men that read vibe magazine.
This reinforces how unisex vibe magazine is unlike
NME. Vibe magazine also came out mush later than
NME but over the past couple years vibe magazine has
overhauled NME in sells, becoming much more
popular than NME.
