  • Sadly 45% did not answer this question however 23% did say yes and this is a good result because it tells me that the products all link together and that the products support each other
  • The results to this question are also good because the people who thought the magazine cover sold itself was 28% of the people. There were 37% of the people who didn’t answer this question so 28% of people answering yes was a good result I think. This question also means that people thought that the magazine cover was effective because they didn’t need to see any content include of the magazine before they decided that they think the magazine cover does sell itself.
  • This result tells me that some people would like to find out more about my film as the magazine cover article supports the film and attacks the audience

Question 1: what do you feel after watching the whole trailer?Here are a few replies I got from this question as you can see these answersrange from the good and the ugly however this is understandable as this ispeople opinions but there were a large number of people that were not mytarget audience so this affected my results.• Sad• Confused• Anticipation• Good• Interested• Boring• Intrigued• Entertained• Weird• Scared

Question 2: After watching the trailer, would you be interested in watching the whole film?This question was so I can find out how manypeople form showcase would go and see theentire film once they have seen the trailer.45%would watch the entire film and this is a goodresult as a huge amount of the audience would gosee them film, what makes this result better is thatmy main target audience were not the largest agegroup present (there were more youngerpeople, people form year 7-year 9).The secondlargest percentage is the Not sure section24%, this result in my opinion is the best becausethese people will be easy to turn to the yes sectionand what might send them to the yes section isthe magazine cover as well as the poster. Noanswer(15% and no section (16%) this section ofthe audience would not watch my film in thecinema this is due to the trailer not appealing tothem, this might be because their weren’t my

This result tellsme that my trailer is unique, different andfresh, this will appeal to a lot of people that wantto wacth a new moive. From one question aperson someone said Kill Bill this is most likey dueto the fact that one of the songs form my trailerdid feuture in the Kill Bill film and was quiteiconic. However im glad that I revised this result ittell me that from the 1000’s of moives myaudiace has wacth 89% could not think of onemoive that is similar.

Question 4: Which of the following features/elements of the trailer were most effective in communicating with you?The reply’s form this question wasthat the audience believed that thecamera shots used was the greatestelement, this was shocking to mepersonal as I spent a lot of timeediting using both iMovie and AfterEffects and learning new techniqueshowever editing only came in 2ndplace. Sound came in at 3rd place thiswas a good result as sound in mytrailer creates the back story of mytrailer. Music only 14% liked thiselement from all 40 versions of mytrailer with different song from Canyou hear me to New York New York.

Please explain shortly.Make it more interestingTransitions of the dipClearer storylineThe beginningThe feedback was slightly expected as I am trying tochallenge convection when it comes to the begging of thetrailer, the typography. Transitions of the dips this was quiteinteresting that a view picked up on this however thesoftware I was using as imoive and is sadly not the best.Make it more interesting, the showcase was open to all agesso this might have been the reason why the trailer was notappealing to the viewer.
