    • Welcome to NarrAdapt Learn how to become a follower of NarrAdapt and how to create your project page to disseminate the narratives you have collectedAuthor : M. Tall – NarrAdapt Coordinator April 2010
    • STEP 1 : Go to http://www.africa-adapt.net  Once on the main page click on « Join » (as shown on picture with the red pointer) April 2010
    • STEP 2 : Now that you are on the « Join » page  Fill in the form adequately entering :  A username  A password  Your name  Your surname  Your email address  Then follow steps as asked Please note that all others information (i.e. not marked with a *) are optional April 2010
    • STEP 3 : Your account on Africa Adapt has now been created  A confirmation email was sent to you. Do not discard that message ! April 2010
    • STEP 4 : Signing in(…)  Go back on the website’s main page and click on « Sign in ».  On the « Sign in » page you will be asked to enter your username and your password as chosen earlier Please do … April 2010
    • STEP 5 : « My Africa Adapt » page You are hereIn this section All the projects you will haveYou will find all previous updates created will be displayed here(new projects, new documents,etc.) you have posted Projects you follow will appear here. We will learn how to add new projects, Hereunder you will find all including Narradapt, to this updates registered by others on list this portal April 2010
    • STEP 6 : Finding the NarrAdapt project  Search with the key word « NarrAdapt »  Or click on « Explore projects » to review projects catalogue April 2010
    • STEP 7 : Identifying NarrAdapt as a project to follow  On the list of projects or search results, look for the NarrAdapt description and click on the project name.  Once you are the project page, click on the « join to follow a project » button  Your image will then appear in this area of the page April 2010
    • STEP 8 : Find other projects to follow  Click on « Explore projects » to review the projects catalogue : it will allow you to search for projects by  Region  Themes  Activity (recent/active) Important : You can also use the search button to find a specific project April 2010
    • STEP 9 : Creating a project profile By clicking on the label « Add a project » you will be able to access to a new type of form hereafter shown… April 2010
    • STEP 10 : The « Before you add a project… » Note  Once on the « Add a project » page, a form is displayed.  But before filling it in, you may want to carefully read the note displayed April 2010
    • STEP 11 : Document your Project – I  Put the name of your project in the title box (INFOCLIM for example),  55 countries on the continent are listed for you to choose from. Your project can be located in more than one country – please indicate them all April 2010
    • STEP 12 : Document your Project – II  Find the right 500 words or so to transform viewers (around the world) into ambassadors !  Then, in the overview section you can be include more details as there is more space for you to present your work April 2010
    • STEP 13 : Document your Project – III  To conclude, it is now time to talk a little bit more about your organization  Its name  The region in which it operates  The main themes that it deals with (multiple choices are allowed)  You can post a picture or a logo  You can edit your profile at a later time April 2010
