Body Language - Presentation Transcript

  1. BODY LANGUAGE NON – VERBAL COMMUNICATION
  2. More than 65% of information is shown in the non – verbal manner and only 35% in the verbal way by using the words. Body language is the first language which we use.
  3. Body language is: - gestures - signals - signs - the manner we behave and do the activities.
    • The non-verbal communication ismainly connected with expressing the feelings.
    • The gestures which express the feelings are:
    • gesticulation
    • paleness and blushing
    • looking at somebody’s eyes or avoiding the eye contact
    • the posture of the body
    • the tone of the voice
    • facial expressions.
  4. The non – verbal communication is: - Ambiguous - the same gesture has several meanings - T he same feelings can be shown differently .
  5. Facial expressions The most important rule is: KEEP SMILING MORE OFTEN THAN THE OTHERS . 70% of communication is made by means of people’s faces.
  6. GESTICULATION Gesticulation means to skow something by means of hands in order to present some information. People’s hands show a lot of information. When people’s mood changes, the movement and the hands position is also different. Gesticulation should be coherent with the words.
  7. REMEMBER! You should be natural because only good actors consciously use the body language.
