  2. 2. <ul><li>Ireland is in great danger of losing there good environment that they have. </li></ul><ul><li>The river water is being affected by agricultural intensification which is more worse than like factory’s and stuff. </li></ul><ul><li>There are tons of environmental issues in Ireland than in the U.S. </li></ul><ul><li>The cars are ruining the air quality from there pipes for example: </li></ul><ul><li>Diesel, cars, trains, air planes, boats, motorcycles, and etc. </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>The greenhouse have increased tremendously by 30% above 1990 levels. </li></ul><ul><li>This is double the increase from 13% then aloud in Kyoto Agreement. </li></ul><ul><li>Volumes of wastes and different kinds are being produced into the air. The amount of factory’s/industrial waste has increased sense the 1980’s. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>Littering is one of the biggest problems in towns. </li></ul><ul><li>Almost all landscapes, coastal areas, habitats, flora, and etc. are all being damaged </li></ul><ul><li>The environmental protection measures is to date, and for the head future in europe. </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>In the whole land of Ireland it is a generally good quality. </li></ul><ul><li>Ireland’s protection is going to be enhanced with the recently, office of Environmental Enforcement, and improve co-ordination of agencies the are enforcement of the 200 environmental laws that are now in the force. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>In the past years in Ireland has been having positive signs in there environment. </li></ul><ul><li>The has bee a slowing down in the growing of the green house emissions. </li></ul><ul><li>The rivers there are being reduced from the extent in them by eutrophication. </li></ul><ul><li>in a long period of time their has been a good reduction in the rivers, and urban (air pollution from lead by the petrol and smoke from coal) </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>The Irish people are being more concerned about the environment and the issues they are having about the environment and trying to work together to try and stop this pollution in the environment. </li></ul>
  8. 8. <ul><li>One example is the plastic bag levy, it has removed about 1 billion plastic bags each year and this has increased the recycling of the waste in Ireland. </li></ul><ul><li>The green house emission is 29% above the main level 1990 levels, and the reduction rate to 13 % above the same as the green house level. </li></ul><ul><li>This is happening in the years 2008-2012, to meet Ireland Kyoto obligations. </li></ul>

  10. 10. <ul><li>The waste recovery and recycling is now counterbalanced in the overall growth in the waste production. </li></ul><ul><li>In about 44 lakes the main pollution problem is eutrophication and also in 10 estuaries and about 3800km in the river world wide it is affecting. </li></ul><ul><li>Ireland is needing progress on all this lake, river, and also natural resources. </li></ul><ul><li>They are trying too make the protection plan and the environment, natural resources and all of these are programmes of all economic sectors. </li></ul>
