    • American Heart Association’s Heart Walk Chicago 2010-2011
    • - 187 employees in 12 teams participated in the walking event.
    • Over $42,000 raised by company employees. Matched by Company 2:1
    Selected Corn Products ‘Environmental Stewardship’ Activities - Last year, our corporate location recycled 27 tons of office materials, more than twice as much as the prior year. To support future efforts, recycling bins were made available throughout the building. - Plants across the globe continually seek out ways to increase recycling, minimize waste, and reduce energy use. One U.S plant was able to recycle 187 tons of paper, plastic and corrugated boxes, 4,500 gallons of oil, 7,200 wood pallets, 1,150,000 lbs of steel, and 870 gallons of parts washer fluid. One plant in Mexico began an ‘adopt a tree’ campaign and donated over 350 trees to be planted. Another plant in Canada has begun to donate unusable corn to a wildlife conservation area to feed protected animals. Corn Products ‘Ingredients of Hope’ charitable giving campaign - Over $70,000 raised by company employees during two week event. Matched by Company 2:1 Community Involvement
