  2. 2. Caywood students welcome you!<br />All visitors received a punch card to be punched at each learning station redeemable later for pizza and a soft drink!!<br />
  3. 3. Did you know? <br />Students use a lightboard to show how CFLs use less electricity than incandescent bulbs.<br />
  4. 4. Hot…Hot…Hot!<br />Students used solar panels to demonstrate how solar energy works<br />
  5. 5. Easy Breezy…Wind Energy<br />Wind Energy has been the fastest growing renewable energy source for the last decade and is the least expensive. It is clean, cost competitive at less than 5 cents a kilowatt and plentiful.<br />Energy team students show off their wind mills to visitors<br />
  6. 6. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle<br />Caywood students are active in their school recycling program by collecting paper for recycling from each classroom. The students also reminded everyone to recycle their empty soda cans at the end of the night.<br />

  8. 8. The Pledge<br />It was a great night of energy efficient presentations from the Caywood Elementary Energy WISE team. Parents were asked to make a pledge to become energy efficient. All pledges were put in a drawing for some fabulous energy-wise gifts!! <br />
