      • Waist High
      • While dribbling the ball, the ball should be bouncing up to the waist level. This can help the player dribble easier and with more control when practicing and in a basketball game.
      Dribbling “ Waist High”
      • Bent Knees
      • Keeping the knees bent while dribbling can help maintain control of the ball, and allows for quick movements of the feet when necessary.
      Dribbling
      • Front/Back Stance
      • The Front/Back Stance position allows greater balance when dribbling the ball, because it sets the body in a mid-low position for better stability.
      • This allows for quick and easy movements while ball handling.
      Dribbling
      • Hot Feet
      • With “Hot Feet” a player must be constantly on their toes, keeping their feet moving at all times. This helps the player to be ready to move quickly at any given time.
      Dribbling “ Hot Feet”
      • “ Eyes Up”
      • Once you able to dribble the ball in good control and comfortably, you can begin to look up while dribbling.
      • With your “eyes up” you can look up to see your teammates for a pass, dribble past an opponent or look at the hoop for a shot in a basketball game.
      Dribbling
      • Dribble While Traveling
