        • Access iTunes
        • Navigate iTunes
        • Download Podcasts
    • iTunes
      • iTunes is a program that allows you to download free podcasts and store them in a library for you and your students to access as needed.
      • In your web browser, type www.iTunes.com
    • Click Download
    • Type your email address and click download now
    • Creating an Account
      • Please refer to task checklist for creating an iTunes account, and I will guide you through the steps.
    • Downloading a Podcast
      • We will now learn how to download a podcast from iTunes.
      • You will need to open your newly downloaded iTunes program.
    • Go to Start, All Programs, iTunes, iTunes
    • Click “iTunes Store”
    • Click the arrow beside the word “Podcasts”
    • Click “Education”
    • Scroll Down and click “K-12”
    • Browse titles and click on one you are interested in to preview.
    • Click the “Play” button to preview. Click the word “FREE” to Download
    • Your podcast will download to your iTunes library.
    • Podcasting
      • Congratulations!
      • You have successfully downloaded a podcast into your iTunes library.
      • To put the podcast onto your iPod, simply plug your iPod into the USB port of your computer and click “sync” on the left side of your iTunes screen.
    • Closing
      • Please brainstorm with your colleagues what kind of podcast you would like to create.
        • Examples: Poem, rhyme, chant, multiplication tables, etc.
        • Please answer the assessment questions.
        • Remember to bring podcasting material with you to the next session.
