  • 2. A fault is a crack In the earths crust formed by an earthquake. What is a fault?
  • 3. A Normal Fault is when the land pulls apart from each other. One side of the land slides under the other side. Normal Faults
  • 4. Reverse Faults A reverse fault is when the land pushes into each other. One side overlaps the other side.
  • 5. When two pieces of land slide past each other in the opposite directions. One is sliding down and the other is sliding up. Strike Slip Faults
