  • 2. I remember my first major bbq comp was in Bixby ,2005,and we were set up next to Mike. Me and my partner had afew to many to drink that night and passed out in the truck. When we woke up in the morning the rain, which was amajor downpoor that night, had soaked all our wood andour cooker was out. Mike gave us some charcoal to get itstarted again and we salvaged a call-in chicken. Thats justone of many. Ive known him through the cooking world ofeither chili or BBQ for 15 years. Thanks Mike and Happy Birthday from the Biggen Horny BBQ and Chili Team, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
  • 3. Hey Mike,Do you remember the time in Fayetteville AR when a strong gust of wind toppled his big, fancy chili cooking rig. Spilled it all! But he scraped some up from the parking lot andturned it in (with some help from the rest of us). And a passing dog cleaned up the rest while we watched. This was at least fifteen years ago.
