    Your success in networking with others depends on 2 things: Your rapport building skills AND your networking strategy. Your goal is to engage someone so you can arrange a meeting outside of the networking event!

    Target the people you want to meet. Talk to them. Get information from them that pertains to you. Get them interested in what you do. Categorize them on the back of their card as soon as you get it. Qualify the contact.
