What is Foursquare’s Main Feature?
Foursquare allows you to share your location with friends.
“ Check-In” (Foursquare’s term) at dance studios, restaurants, gyms, retail stores, movie theaters, etc.
You earn points, prize “badges,” and coupons for checking-in frequently, or at a certain time.

Raise enough points, and you become the “Mayor” of a certain area or location.
This is a great way to create more of an incentive for your customers to visit your business, and share it with their friends.

How To Add A Foursquare Tab To Your Facebook Fan Page
Go to Foursquare.com, create an account, and claim ownership of your business if it’s already listed.
If it’s not, add it to Foursquare.

Go To
www.apps.facebook.com/placewidget

You Now Have The Option To…
Find Your Place – Enter your business name and location.
Choose Your Page – Select which fan page should use this venue.
Save Your Settings – Once you’ve saved your settings, you need to add the Place Widget application to your page.

Once You’ve Added the application…
Go to your Facebook Fan Page
Click on the plus (+) symbol on the far right of your Tab bar to add the “Place Widget” tab.

How To Share Your New Tab
Click on the “Edit Page” link under your fan page’s profile picture.
Scroll down to the “Place Widget” application.
Click on “Link to this Tab”. You will then see a link to your tab that you can share on Twitter, or anywhere else you like.
