  16. 16. LAYOUT STRATEGY <br />PROCESS LAYOUT- <br />The strategic plan of layout make the procedure of the work become more systematic. So, this layout make the time time of the process become shorter.<br />
  17. 17. RETAIL LAYOUT-<br />They combine with the layout process to attract the customer.<br />They combine the laundry and bistro to make it more convenient to the customer.<br />

LOCATION DECISION<br />STRATEGIC LOCATION:<br />Which is in the population of 10, 000 people include students. <br />Lifestyle: Most of the people which stays in the area are busy with their daily activities. Therefore. They do not have much time to the laundry at home so, they send it to laundry shop. <br />
  19. 19. PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION<br />
  20. 20. 1) PARKING PROBLEM<br /><ul><li>Beside NanoWash shop, there is a restaurant that is always full with customers and the customers park their car in front of NanoWash laundry shop.
  21. 21. This situation cause the customers of NanoWash to faced the difficulty to stop and park their vehicles in order to send or take back their clothes from NanoWash Laundry Shop.</li></li></ul><li>2) PROCESS AND CAPACITY DESIGN.<br />Machine can’t support the capacity of clothes.<br />There is two huge machine in NanoWash but it’s not functioning completely yet because of wiring problem.<br />When there is more customer than usuall, the worker must work overtime and this would take more time to wash all the clothes and the cost of the employee salary would increase.<br />

  23. 23. 1)PARKING SPACE@The solution to the problem of parking space is the NanoWash can provide door to door service.@NanoWash can also put company sign board on a few parking space in front of the shop.<br />
  24. 24. 2) PROCESS AND CAPACITY DESIGN. @They should use a bigger capacity of machine to make the work become more convenient and faster.@ They should do the wiring in order to operate the two big machine.@ They should also employ more employee to make all the task done easier and not burdening the current employee.<br />

  26. 26. Overall, they can improves their service by hiring more employees to operates the machines so that they can offer a better service which are more efficient. Other than that, they should solves the wiring problem as soon as possible so that they can cater the increase of machine’s capacity thus, will enable the business to reduce the time needed to clean the clothes. <br />

NANOWASH used the operation management strategies to make their bussiness run smoothly and solve each of their problem by using the method of operation management. <br />To study the effectiveness of Operation Management in the company and how it is interrelated to the aspect human resource and marketing.<br />
