    Project Task 1 - Presentation Transcript

    1. Harry Plotter’s school shopping list 1. Open a new spreadsheet A2, enter the following data 2. Starting in cell Number Total needed Cost Item Price Plain Robe 3 24.99 Wizard's hat 2 19.99 Wand 1 49.99 Spell book 1 39.99 Bag 4 9.99 Jellybeans 2 1.99 3. Resize the column widths so that all of the data shows (see video tutorial if unsure) 4. Format any cells containing currency to show a £ symbol and to have 2 decimal places (see video tutorial if unsure) 5. In cell D3, write a multiplication formula to work out the cost of the three plain robes (see video tutorial if unsure) 6. Use autofil to copy your formula from cell D3 to cells D4:D8 (see video tutorial if unsure) 7. Write a SUM formula to add the values in cells D3:D8 (see video tutorial if unsure) 8. Rename the tab to ‘shopping list’ (see video tutorial if unsure) 9. Delete the unused worksheets (see video tutorial if unsure) 10. Click on row A and insert a new row above the table (see video tutorial if unsure) 11. In cell A1 write ‘Shopping List’ 12. Make the title size 20. 13. Choose a font style that you like 14. Insert a suitable image into your spreadsheet 19. Make the titles in cells A3:D3 bold 20. Centre the titles in cells A3:D3 21. In cell B3, the text ‘number needed’ is too long. Wrap the text so that it goes over two rows (see video tutorial if unsure) 22. Insert your name as a footer (see video tutorial if unsure) 23. Set the sheet and column row headers to show (see video tutorial if unsure) 24. Set the gridlines to show (see video tutorial if unsure) 25. Set your print area so that only cells A1:E12 print (see video tutorial if unsure) 26. Set your work to print onto one page and landscape (see video tutorial if unsure) 27. Print out your spreadsheet 28. Annotate your work by hand.
