    Agreement Agreement Presentation Transcript

    •  A void agreement has no legal bearing, and is unenforceable by law. Parties to a voided agreement have no responsibility or legal requirement to act as far as carrying out the terms of the agreement.
    •  There are certain things that can contribute to a voided agreement. If a minor enters into a contract, it is not legal and therefore it is void. You cannot force a minor to fulfill the requirements of a contract.
    •  Restraints of marriage contracts are also void. These contracts put limitations on whom and when a person can marry, according to the website Chestofbooks.com.
    •  Some contracts or agreements are enforceable only for a certain time. One party to the agreement may be given a certain amount of time to void the contract. When the time frame has passed and no action taken to void the agreement, it becomes legal.
    •  An agreement requiring either party to do something deemed impossible would be a void agreement, according to the website Scribd.com.
    •  Other void agreements are agreements centering on restraint of trade, which restricts free competition in a business setting or environment.
    •  A contract prohibiting someone from enforcing their rights, outlined in the contract, in a court of law is void. This is a restraint on legal proceedings, according to the website Law.justia.com
