"Hi, I just conducted Socrative workshops today during the teaching day at Aalborg University, Denmark. Couple of issues were raised/identified and we look forward to a close contact to provide feedback for Socrative team for future improvements. First, the user guide (here: http://socrative.com/materials/SocrativeUserGuide.pdf) states "Socrative supports up to 50 students logged in at one time." Significant number of participant teachers informed that they have more than 50 students in the class. So, the question is, do Socrative have a possiblity overcome this barrier? Second, we found bug in create a quiz option. Two participants, by mistake wrote and selected the options of an MCQ or True/False; then, when they tried to write the question/statement then it could not be done. Instead, the user had to delete the question, create a new question (/statement) and then created the options of the question at last." I received the following reply: "Hello, Thank you for contacting Socrative Support. Some teachers have given us feedback that it is indeed possible to reach upwards of 70 students. However, we cannot guarantee the stability of the platform if you exceed the recommended 50. At around 70+ students Socrative starts to slow down drastically which can result in the loss of student answers and or connection. Our developers are working very hard to resolve the issue with MC and True/False questions and hope to have that fixed by this week! Thank you for spreading the word about Socrative and taking the time to share this information with us. If there is anything else we can help you with please don't hesitate to let us know. Have a great day!"  1 month ago
