AIM: The main of this project is to provide intelligent security system in a community. PURPOSE: The purpose of the project is to design a wireless data transfer system with high security to overcome the existing traditional system. The traditional monitoring and alarming nets are based on sundry wired net technologies such as field bus, CAN bus and RS422. The existing equipments on the basis of wired nets are automatic wired itinerant monitoring nets, in which the data from detecting nodes are linked to all the transmitting modules via wires. In such a signal transmitting plan, the long transmission lines will generate high cost, long project time and difficult repair work. Embedded systems Ph:7842522786 9948887244 DESCRIPTION: In intelligent community, security incidents such as robber, fire and patrol alarms in some important places must be reported and handled in time. The traditional monitoring and alarming nets are based on sundry wired net technologies such as field bus, CAN bus and RS422. The security state data from smoking sensors, infrared sensors and panic buttons will be detected and transferred to monitoring center. The existing equipments on the basis of wired nets are automatic wired itinerant monitoring nets, in which the data from detecting nodes are linked to all the transmitting modules via wires. In such a signal transmitting plan, the long transmission lines will generate high cost, long project time and difficult repair work. The wireless sensor network based on Zigbee technology is developed to solve the defects of existing monitoring and alarming system. In the wireless system, all the data will be transmit in wireless method. Since the real-time measuring data could be transmit to monitoring center via wireless network, the operation staff will only sit in the office to check up the system running state. TECHNOLOGY: ZIGBEE: Zigbee is new wireless technology guided by IEEE 802.15.4 Personal Area Network standard. It is primarily designed for the wide range controlling applications and to replace the existing non-standard technologies. It currently operates in 868 MHz band at a data rate of 20Kbps in Europe, 914MHz band at 40kbps in USA, and the 2.4GHz ISM bands Worldwide at a maximum data-rate of 250kbps. It is used to verify whether user’s truncation is possible or not. One of the main advantages of this ZIGBEE communication is that it provides a noise free communication, the amount of noise added in this type of communication is very less compared to the other wireless communications. skesystems@gmail.com Vijayawada Hyderabad Page 4
