  3. 3. Why is the teen suicide rate going up? Parents don’t think anything is wrong so they don’t help Parents think it is just their kids over-reacting to drama when they are depressed so they don’t help One young person commits suicide every two hours
  4. 4. What are signs of suicide risk? Heavy drinking Eating disorders Obsession with death Suicide threats Big drop in grades Feel hopeless Feel worthless Substance abuse Strange behavior Sad a lot No energy Anxiety Thoughts of suicide
