AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A.
40A:12A-7 FOR THE WESTERN EDGE REDEVELOPMENT AREA IN ATH CITY OF
HOBOKEN. (DR-397) (awaiting Planning Board Review)

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE NORTHWEST REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND
APPENDIX A OF CHAPTER 196 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN. (DR-402)

                              Reports of City Officers

A report of the Municipal Court indicating receipts for the month of April 2009 as
$463,496.50.

A report from Municipal Tax Collector Sharon Curran for taxes collected; for the month of
April 2009 - $11,395,795.22.
CONSENT AGENDA

Consent Agenda defined: All items listed with an asterisk (*) are considered to be routine
business by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate
discussion on these items unless a council member or citizen so request, in which event the
item will be removed from the general order of business and considered in its normal
sequence on the agenda.




                                     RESOLUTIONS


1*        Resolution authorizing party with purpose to Hold a 5-K race and kids fun run on
          Tuesday, July 14, 2009 to benefit the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club and Jubilee
          Center.

2.*       Resolution designating the corner of 7th Street and Madison Street as “Aggie
          Way” in honor of Agnes Forino.

3.*       Approval to submit a grant application and execute a grant agreement with the
          New Jersey Department of Transportation for the FY 2010 NJDOT Trust Fund
          Resurfacing of various streets project.

4.*       Awarding 2009 Summer Food Service contract.

5.*       Resolution authorizing the closure of a bank account at the recommendation of the
          Division of Revenue and Finance.

6.*       A resolution authorizing the refund of tax overpayments. ($26,951.60)

7.*       A resolution authorizing the refund of tax appeals Hudson County Tax Board and
          State Tax Court. ($5,559.42).

8.*       Resolution awarding a contract for the online auction of the public property of the
          City of Hoboken.

9.*       Resolution authorizes the transfer of funds within accounts in the fiscal year 2009
          current fund appropriations.

10.*      A resolution to cut an estimated $75,000 in taxpayer expense while increasing
          voter participation through use of instant runoff voting (IRV).

11.*      2009 Summer Food Service Program. (Inserting a Special Item of Revenue
          into the SFY 2009 Municipal Budget.)
12.*    A resolution authorizing the City of Hoboken to enter into an inter-local services
        agreement with Hudson County in order to participate in the 2009 annual Edward
        Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG).
