    1. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN MEETING OF JUNE 3, 2009 REVISED AGENDA Please note: The Hoboken City Council may consider additional Resolutions, Ordinances or any other matter brought before the Hoboken City Council until June 3, 2009 and throughout the meeting; however, pursuant to the State Supervision Act, all Ordinances & Resolutions may be subject to review and approval by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. ORDINANCES Second Reading and Public Hearing and Final Vote AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-7 FOR THE WESTERN EDGE REDEVELOPMENT AREA IN ATH CITY OF HOBOKEN. (DR-397) (awaiting Planning Board Review) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE NORTHWEST REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND APPENDIX A OF CHAPTER 196 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN. (DR-402) (awaiting Planning Board review) (REMOVED FROM AGENDA) Petitions and Communications Reports of City Officers A report of the Municipal Court indicating receipts for the month of April 2009 as $463,496.50. A report from Municipal Tax Collector Sharon Curran for taxes collected; for the month of April 2009 - $11,395,795.22.
    2. CONSENT AGENDA Consent Agenda defined: All items listed with an asterisk (*) are considered to be routine business by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion on these items unless a council member or citizen so request, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. RESOLUTIONS 1* Resolution authorizing party with purpose to Hold a 5-K race and kids fun run on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 to benefit the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club and Jubilee Center. 2.* Resolution designating the corner of 7th Street and Madison Street as “Aggie Way” in honor of Agnes Forino. 3.* Approval to submit a grant application and execute a grant agreement with the New Jersey Department of Transportation for the FY 2010 NJDOT Trust Fund Resurfacing of various streets project. 4.* Awarding 2009 Summer Food Service contract. 5.* Resolution authorizing the closure of a bank account at the recommendation of the Division of Revenue and Finance. 6.* A resolution authorizing the refund of tax overpayments. ($26,951.60) 7.* A resolution authorizing the refund of tax appeals Hudson County Tax Board and State Tax Court. ($5,559.42). 8.* Resolution awarding a contract for the online auction of the public property of the City of Hoboken. 9.* Resolution authorizes the transfer of funds within accounts in the fiscal year 2009 current fund appropriations. 10.* A resolution to cut an estimated $75,000 in taxpayer expense while increasing voter participation through use of instant runoff voting (IRV). 11.* 2009 Summer Food Service Program. (Inserting a Special Item of Revenue into the SFY 2009 Municipal Budget.)
    3. 12.* A resolution authorizing the City of Hoboken to enter into an inter-local services agreement with Hudson County in order to participate in the 2009 annual Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG). ORDINANCES Introduction and First Reading AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND SUPPLEMENT CHAPTER 192 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN ENTITLED PARKING FOR HANDICAPPED. (approval; 314-6th Street, 413 Adams Street, 329 Garden Street) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN TO CLAIRTY THE HOURS OF OPERATIONS FOR OUTDOOR SERVICE AREAS FOR BARS AND RESTAURANTS. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 179A OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN, ENTITLED “TAXICABS” AND SECTION 180A OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN, ENTITLED „LIMOUSINES AND LIVERIES”. NEW BUSINESS PUBLIC COMMENTS
