  5. 5. How does it work?<br />A group of satellites around the earth’s orbit transmit precise signals<br />These signals allow GPS receivers to calculate and display accurate location, speed and time information to the user<br />It only takes 3 or more satellites to pinpoint your location<br />

How GPS works continued…<br />GPS works through all weather conditions, all day and around the clock<br />Some locations may not permit accurate GPS navigation due to blocked signals that can be caused by canyon walls, skyscrapers or dense forests<br />GPS receivers are typically accurate within 15 meters<br />
  7. 7. Today GPS has become a multi-billion dollar industry with lots of products that use GPS<br />
