    • Approximately 1.9 million students abuse prescription drugs
    • 7 of the top 11 commonly used drugs by high school seniors are prescribed or over-the-counter.
    • Prescription drugs are being abused more than heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine combined. 
    • Prescription drug abuse is increasing and is being abused more than any other drug except marijuana.
