  • 1. Agenda Monday, Feb. 22 Welcome back! Homework 13 Shapes p. 60 # 4 - 6, 8 - 20 Daily Scribe Mon. Tues. Wed. Thurs. Fri. Solving Systems of Linear Equations Problem 4.2 & 4.3
  • 2. Which system is easier to solve? Does it matter which variable you solve for? So far we've learned to solve systems of linear equations by graphing and by setting the equations equal to one another (ex. Income = Expenses). Equations are not always given in y = mx + b form. Write each equation in y = mx + b form. (solve for y Then find a solution to the system. Write each equation in x = ky + c form. (solve for x) Then find a solution to the system. 3x - y = 30 y = 3x - 30 x + y = 14 y = 14 - x { {
