2. Today I want to talk about is some fundamentals
based on transforming yourself to accomplish your goals
and dreams. I was listening to yet another audio by Darren
Hardy called „Compound Effect.‟ It‟s so good that I have it in
both book and audio format. He talks about figuring out
who you need to become to get the type of results and
lifestyle you want.
3. If you want to be able to accomplish more and have
more success, who do you need to become? When you
ask yourself that type of question, you really start to explore
different avenues of learning. Always try to ask yourself
quality questions. Sometimes we just wonder why we‟re
failing, which just ends up beating you down. If you ask
yourself the right questions though, it‟ll lead to the right
answers.
4. So I ask myself, who do I need to become to make
$30,000 a month? What are my daily disciplines? Am I
following the 8 core commitments? I have to
read, market, listen to audios, attend all events and
anything else that can basically fill my mind with good
ideas. Who are the types of people that I need to meet and
work with? It brings us back to the idea of mentors. They
will help you make good decisions and keep yourself on
track.
5. You have to just continue to work on yourself. It‟s
going to be a lifelong process. I started personal
development when I was 20 years old. Over that course of
time, my actions and thinking have considerably changed.
Back then I had no idea what it took to be successful in
business or personal development. I was just going through
life like everyone else; going to school and partying. I
actually had friends that said, “We need to party because
our college years are going to be our best years.”
With that mentality, as you get older life is just going
to be horrible. I don‟t see it that way though. Every year
you‟re constantly growing and developing how you can be
more influential, and learning from other people.
6. I always look at life as a learning process. We‟re
never a finished product. We‟re always in the process of
self-education. That‟s who you need to become if you want
to meet your income goals or even the right spouse. All of
those things are going to factor into how you treat your
mind, receive information and how it translates into your
thoughts. After that, everything else will just start to flow.
