  • Teenwise Media Mission Teenwise Media Group (TMG) is the country’s largest provider of targeted, non-traditional media programs for the youth market.   • Teenwise Media Limited Founded in 2001, Teenwise Media Limited is the leading provider of marketing solutions for East Africa’s Generation Y demography. Teenwise Media Limited specializes in providing youth marketing, strategy & media services for the target audience aged between 14 – 24. Over the past nine years, Teenwise Media Ltd. has evolved to become the East African region’s marketing solutions provider for the youth market.

  • The Insyder is a magazine created to entertain, inform and educate the Kenyan teens (both male and female) aged between 15-19. With a 20,000 print circulation and a readership of 40 per copy, The Insyder reaches over 800,000 teens in Kenya. The Insyder is distributed nationally through two methods: i) Directly To Schools: By Teenwise Media Limited [70% of total] ii) To Major Retail Outlets: By Nation Media & Publishers [30% of total]
  • The Chaguo La Teeniez Awards (CHAT) is a project that seeks to recognize and award Kenyans youth who have made meaningful contribution to our society by excelling in the disciplines of academics, arts and sports. Ever since its inception in 2002, seven consecutive events have been held in Kenya and have attracted of over25,000 people and a television audience of over 1 million (in 2007 on Citizen TV) in Kenya. The CHAT Awards are Kenya’s biggest award-type event.
  • The Pure Oxygen Jam is a talent search property that gives teens the opportunity to showcase their musical prowess in front of a live crowd. The title ‘Pure Oxygen’ was created to promote drug and alcohol-free fun amongst our youth. The event promotes the idea of having fun without using alcohol or drugs, thus our motto – ‘The only thing you should drink and smoke at the party is oxygen.’ Virtually all of the regions top youthful music stars have been discovered through the Pure Oxygen Jam. Seven consecutive events have been held since 2002 and the event has attracted a combined total of about 5,000 participants and 35,000 spectators.
  • The Scream Tour is an integrated property that is focused in nature, targeting about 300-500 teens per activation. This property tours between 40-50 schools per year taking with it top Kenyan artists, DJ’s, models and live music. It goes on throughout the academic term.
  • The Summer Super Cup is a boys’ property that collectively harnesses the exhilarating passion of schools’ rugby and focuses it onto one single championship. It has been held bi-annually since 2003. The Slam Jam property combines the vibrancy of street basketball (streetball), the excitement of the entertainment industry and the energy of the youth. It brings together the elements that teens consider fun, exciting and leverages them with a sports event. It has been held annually since 2003.
  • 99 Degrees is a syndicated 1 hour DVD show targeted at the youth aged between 15 – 19 years. In essence, 99 Degrees is The Insyder magazine transformed into a digital television show on DVD/VCD format. It incorporates what is found within the pages of The Insyder, such as coverage of school events, celebrity interviews, music, shout outs and special features. All the material contained in this show is very current and gathered from all regions across Kenya. It is produced every two months and distributed free of charge to over 500 high schools across Kenya, key recreational centres and the hottest matatus (nganya’s).
  • The Insyder's E Newsletter is called the ‘e-nsyder.’ The e-nsyder is a media platform for youth media and marketing professionals. The e-nsyder is part of Teenwise Media Limited the publishers of The Insyder magazine. Teenwise Media Limited publishes a blog (theinsyder.blogspot.com), a website www.theinsyder.com; a newsletter, the ensyder weekly Update for subscribers From September 2009, TML will produce a conference for media and marketing professionals with particular interests in the youth market - The Youth Marketing Forum.
