  1. 1. You be the author… Two important parts of the story, “President Cleveland, Where Are You?” were left out by the author. 1. Jerry selling the card to Rollie Tremaine 2. Jerry giving the $5 to Armand for the dance Pick one of the conversations. Imagine what that scene would have been like. In one or more paragraphs, tell the story how you “see” it happening. You need to include: • The prewriting page • WHERE were the characters talking? • WHAT was said? • What EMOTIONS did each character have? • Each character must say 3 pieces of dialogue (total of 6) • The dialogue must be written correctly. • You cannot use the word, “said.” Use other words from your “Ways to say SAID” sheet. Write the Rough draft and Final copy on notebook paper. Staple it together with the prewriting page and turn in. DUE: Friday, Oct. 30
