Avisitor that they surely didnt want to attend their picnic.The visitor was an 17 foot Burmese Python.The Burmese Python was later shoot by park rangers.The family is safe and doing find besides maybe being a little shaken up by theirunwanted guess.Pet Burmese PythonStrangely not all people are afraid of Burmese Pythons not matter how big andfrightening they my seem.A young Sambath Uon a cambodian boy has a 14 foot pet Burmese Python. Burmese PythonAccording to WikipediaThe Burmese Python (Python molurus bivittatus) is the largest subspecies ofthe Indian Python and one of the six largest snakes in the world, native to a largevariation of tropic and subtropic areas of Southern- and Southeast Asia. They areoften found near water and are sometimes semi-aquatic, but can also be found intrees. Wild individuals average 3.7 metres (12 ft) long,[3][4] but may reach up to 5.74metres (19 ft).[5]Burmese Pythons are mainly nocturnal rainforest dwellers.[22] When younger theyare equally at home on the ground and in trees, but as they gain girth they tend torestrict most of their movements to the ground. They are also excellent swimmers,being able to stay submerged for up to half an hour. Burmese Pythons spend themajority of their time hidden in the underbrush.Seems to me like this isnt the type of snake to be playing with and making a pet.As for everyone in the Florida area or any southern area that fits the type of areas thatnatures giants (Burmese Python) like to roam beware.
