Hi Ken ... this is Gary Jacobson, author of the poem, Children of War, you used here with your slides. You diod give me credit on your piece “Children of War”

but here you fail to attribute the words to me In my poem written years ago, and posted on my website, http://namtour.com/childrenofwar.html In fact you are seeming to accept credit for my words, changed very little from my original. And you have used my words without my approval, which is in violation of copyright laws. I really didn’t mind it when you gave me credit, but here you use my words and then take the credit for them... that’s not right!

I note that war is something old men of all nationalities foist upon their young. It is the young who fight the battles, bear the injuries, and either die at the feet of the alter of the gods of war, or live forever changed, their values forever changed, forever lost, forever wondering why? For them there is no escape! They have no choice, but to quiver to-and-fro in the winds of cruel war, swaying like a reed in the maelstrom! Were they just inconveniently born in the wrong place at the wrong time, doomed to follow the winds of war wherever it may blow, however it may alter their innocent lives?

And what will become of them when they grow older, and because of lessons learned in youth, they become the ones sending another generation to war...

There are no words to be used in order to describe the beauty and the truth of all you are doing Ken out of love... Thanks again for spreading another fundamentally important message Ken.

If every one of us made the effort to do just a fraction of what you do, the world would become a much better place. We must all preach for the good, and, ost importantly, then lead by example, because as your pps illustrates so clearly, our childrens’ futures are greatly dependent upon us.
