      • Although email is a revolutionary invention, it still has some flaws.
    3. Privacy
      • Most emails are not encrypted, so can be hacked
      • Email has to go through another computer to reach you, so it may be intercepted and read
    4. Privacy
      • Your internet service provider stores copies of emails you have received which may be read if required permission
      • Headers and forwarded messages can reveal your email address to anyone that receives the message
    5. Privacy
      • So, in fact, email is not very ‘private’ at all.
    6. Etiquette
      • What are the unwritten rules of the net?
    7. DON’T FLAME
      • Don’t flame. Flaming is using insulting language to show your anger. It will get you in trouble.
    8. DON’T SPAM
      • Spamming is sending messages with inappropriate or useless content multiple times to people you don’t know
    9. DON’T SHOUT
      • TYPING IN ALL CAPS INDICATES YOU ARE SHOUTING AND ARE ANGRY!!!!
    10. Summary
      • If you don’t flame, spam, or shout, you should be alright on the net.
