  • Case Study: Siemens• Problem: A severe shortage of relevant CVs from current suppliers meant Siemens could not move forward with its recruitment drive. This was resulting in additional demand on its current teams due to a shortage of 30+ employees within their data centre.• Solution: To provide an immediate volume response across the board to all vacancies followed by a targeted campaign based on Siemens needs to support the initial drive.
  • Case Study: Siemens• Result: After Siemens HR made initial contact with Evolution, we met to gain a deeper understanding of the business and its current needs. After the meeting, the urgency of the roles was obvious so Evolution pulled out all the stops including mobilising its resources to work a 7 day week to capture and interview candidates. The results were very positive with over 500 candidates contacted and over 140 applications for roles across the board.
  • Case study: Siemens• Evolution achieved a ratio of one interview requested for every two CVs sent.• Evolution is now proud to be the IT and Telecoms recruitment supplier of choice to the Siemens group.
  • Case Study: Symantec• Problem: Acquiring a company providing a niche product within the Enterprise Email Management market, Symantec turned to Evolution for assistance after difficulty recruiting for the new business.• Solution: With the desire to take a N-Tier based product to a worldwide market and migrate it from a Windows environment to a cross platform environment, an aggressive team building program for both contract and permanent employees was put in place. Evolution initially started with the recruitment drive in the support teams, the remit was clear and strong – High level support experience at 3rd and 4th line Enterprise level of Windows Server, Exchange and SQL server.
  • Case Study: Symantec• Result: Evolution was able to manage this initial remit very successfully and have continued to recruit for the client time and time again. We have expanded our services with this project to cover the migration of this software to UNIX and Lotus environments, Testing, Development, QA and Performance Engineers. This service was based on strong account management, advertising, candidate search, selection, head hunting, technical and language fluency testing. Our success on this project has led to a long term relationship with this company and successful repeat PSL appointments.
  • Case Study: Symantec• We now cover many areas of the business assisting with difficult roles to fill, covering other product support teams (Storage, UNIX, Windows, Database, High Availability, Security etc.), professional services, multi lingual pre-sales, development, project management, online marketing, product management and global support.
  • Case Study: Rolls Royce/O-Sys• Problem: Due to the highly specialised market in which Rolls Royce and O-sys operate, high quality candidates are in short supply. The client had difficulty in reaching out and identifying good quality candidates to take the business forward.• Solution: In 2007, Evolution worked with the internal recruitment manager and met with key hiring managers to understand their recruitment issues and the types of individuals required. Adopting a highly focused advertising and recruitment strategy, Evolution very quickly created a repository of relevant candidates. Our systems were programmed to constantly recognise candidates that would be of interest to each line manager.
  • Case Study: Rolls Royce/O-Sys• Result: Recently, the Rolls Royce in-house recruitment team commented that appointing Evolution to their list of suppliers was “the best thing they’d ever done.” Evolution now fill 9 out of 10 requirements that are issued to external suppliers demonstrating the strengths and results that can be achieved through a strategic relationship. Since 2007, Evolution has placed over 90 candidates in a range of positions from Business Analysts, Software Developers, Project Managers, SAP Implementation specialists, C++ and Web developers, Implementation Managers and Solutions Architects.
  • Case Study: Qualys• Problem: Qualys aim to set themselves apart from the rest of the industry by the level of high quality support and services it provides to its clients. It treats its support positions as priority, key roles. The skills required are at CISSP level and are mixed with a detailed knowledge of protocol configuration, network services, firewalls, Intrusion detection and web development experience. Following unsuccessful attempts to recruit several positions, Qualys turned to Evolution. Our task was to identify a fresh set of suitable applicants, within a set salary band that fully met an exacting technical specification. Having been told that “it is unlikely you’ll find these candidates”, Evolution set out to prove what it was capable of.
  • Case Study: Qualys• Solution: The Evolution Security recruitment specialists discussed detailed job specification with Qualys to understand the criteria that were making the role difficult to fill and have a better understanding of the technical challenges that were to be addressed. We also gained a full appreciation of the personality profiles that would map into the organisation.• Evolution then embarked on its candidate search, head hunting through its bespoke database and on-line candidate repositories, as well as advertising on strategic Job Boards.
  • Case Study: Qualys• Result: Within a couple of days, Evolution had managed to provide a short-list of candidates that impressed the Qualys Technical Manager and within a few weeks four of these positions had been filled. Evolution is now the IT partner of choice for all Technical and Sales roles.
