What is E-Rate? <ul><li>Administered by the Schools and Library Division (SLD) of the Universal Service Administration Company. </li></ul><ul><li>A program created to assist schools and libraries in providing discounted funding for telecommunications, internet access and internal connections. </li></ul><ul><li>Schools and Libraries must apply for this program. </li></ul><ul><li>Discounts vary depending on the economic status of the community. </li></ul>
