• The Honolulu Zoo’s “Wildest Show in Town” Summer concert series continues with performances on August 7 and 14. Doors open at 4:35 p.m., concert starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $3.

• The 31st Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival kicks off at Kapiolani Park on August 18 from 12-6 p.m. Admission is free.

If you’re looking for that perfect souvenir to commemorate your Hawaiian vacation, head to the Made in Hawai‘i festival at the Neil Blaisdell Exhibition Hall on August 16-18. The showcase will feature food, art, fashion and more.
