    • So what’s next…• “The best foundations are only visible to the craftsman.”• We’ve built a great foundation, but it’s nothing more than a critical first step and one mostly unseen by our membershipNow let’s build a real soccer club. THE COMMONWEALTH SOCCER CLUB
    • To develop young athletes into well-rounded soccer players as they move into high school and college years. This preparation will focus upon the development ofOur Mission physical, technical, tactical and mental soccer skills through an elite process-driven and highly competitive program. •We will foster the technical, tactical, physical and mental development of our members through the sport of soccer in all level of age and competition. •We will be the class of youth soccer. Players, coaches and parents should live by the highest standards of sportsmanship toward each other, the competition, and the referees. It also means playing the best soccer, which may not always mean winning the most games. •We will develop a love of the game. To learn about the game. To understand that there is so much more to appreciate than simply scoring goals. To enjoy the experience…have fun…and find joy in the work required to be their best. •We will develop as people and players in a safe environment, building confidence, work ethic and exemplary attitude in order to benefit our players in soccer and life.     • The CSC Development Process• A comprehensive written evaluation process built from the team-level and age-level goals to measure player development • Evaluation throughout the season (at least twice) by the coaching staff • Spring final evaluation is in person with player’s parents • No surprises at tryout time THE COMMONWEALTH SOCCER CLUB

    • Coaching at CSCOur coaches will:• Work aggressively to develop the technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of the game for players and in line with the club team and age-level goals.• Take the evaluation process extremely seriously• Have a vision for the team, setting goals for the team and players.• Be a great communicator with players AND parents, setting expectations early and updating them both on progress several times throughout each season• Be knowledgeable of and support larger club initiatives• Push players, be positive, encouraging and enthusiastic about what they do.• Be an example to my players and care for their well being on and off the soccer field• Always look for opportunities for their personal development and certification• Exude professionalism in all they do THE COMMONWEALTH SOCCER CLUB
    • The Club EnvironmentThe leadership of CSC will work to provide an elite, first class experience wheremembers feel part of something larger than themselves or a single team.•An organization with vision, goals, infrastructure and professionalism in all we do, servingour members and never ourselves•Make the experience as affordable as possible•Recruit, train and develop the best employees•Outstanding facilities with Club logos all over the place•Leadership must be easily accessible and must communicate heavily to the membership•Must address issues fairly, quickly and decisively through a well built grievance process•Create an environment that offers a premium and consistent customer experience•Must always push to grow and develop the organization seeking ideas from membershipat every turn•Offer programs and resources to develop our players (i.e. winter training, 3S, Seminars,online education resources, parent/player orientation meetings, etc.) THE COMMONWEALTH SOCCER CLUB
    • All for One Club.This is a sweeping cultural change. It takes time and we need your help.•This is a big change for our coaches • More meetings for them discussing issues, successes and technique • Training on communicating with Parents, the evaluation process • Accountability for doing the work and developing our players•Big change for our members • Being competitive and winning is important, but we will not sacrifice development to win games • We are asking the parents to help us build this culture • Big change for players • Players will be responsible for their development • There will be homework, recommended training options, self study, etc. THE COMMONWEALTH SOCCER CLUB
