To summarise, symbol fonts as used by equation editors work OK from OpenOffice under Linux, and OK from a PDF export from an MS PowerPoint 2004 file from Apple Mac. The MS PowerPoint upload from the Apple messed up the symbol font. 3 years ago
keithpeter commented on Algebra: multiplying terms OOps, the symbol font is broken on slideshare when uploading from MS PowerPoint 2004 on an Apple Mac. I’ll try the ODP version in a few days.
