  • Resume Templates with Style!!!
  • Have you ever used the MS Word Resume Templates?
  • Keeping the same formatting can be difficult at times.
  • For example, let’s take a closer look here.
  •  
  • This added job is formatted differently than the others.
  • Different Alignments
  • Different Bullets
  • Different Fonts
  • Different Spacing Between Paragraphs
  • How Do We Fix This!?
  • It’s All About the Style!
  • The Style of a Paragraph can be found on the Formatting Toolbar
  • It has a drop down menu that lists various Styles.
  • A Style is a set of formatting characteristics…
  • … that can be applied by placing you cursor in a desired paragraph…
  • … and selecting a Style from this drop-down menu.
  • A Resume Template uses Styles throughout.
  • Find out the type of Style a certain paragraph uses by…
  • … clicking on the paragraph and looking in the Style text box.
  • This paragraph uses the Company Name Style
  • This Style also has two built-in tabs (1 left aligned and 1 right)
  • This paragraph uses the Job Title Style
  • These bulleted paragraphs use the Achievement Style
  • Highlight these paragraphs and change Style to Achievement .
  • Click on this paragraph and change Style to Job Title .
  • Click on this paragraph and change Style to Company Name .
  • Use CTRL+Tab to align text to the tabs.
  • Pressing Tab alone will move to the next cell in the table.
  • Your Resume is now formatted correctly!
