  • 3. Your mailbox is over its size limit…
  • 4. What do you do?
  • 5. First, empty your Deleted Items folder.
  • 6. Then, empty your Junk E-mail folder.
  • 7. You can also delete your old messages in your Sent Items folder.
  • 8. To do that, make sure messages are arranged by date Sent .
  • 9. Click on the Last Page button to see the oldest messages.
  • 10. Surely you don’t need messages you sent over a year ago.
  • 11. Delete the old messages. HINT: Use the SHIFT key…
  • 12. Click on the first message on the page…
  • 13. Press and hold SHIFT…
  • 14. … and click on the last message on the page.
  • 15. This highlights every message on the page.
  • 16. Then delete them.
  • 17. You can also find your large messages.
  • 18. This can be done in both the Inbox and the Sent Items folder.
  • 19. To do that, change your View to Messages
  • 20. The Messages View shows the Size of your messages.
  • 21. Click on the Size column heading to arrange messages by size.
  • 22. Click on the First Page button to move to the first page (where the largest messages are located)
  • 23. 1 MB = about 1000 KB
  • 24. Mailbox size warning sent at 163,840 KB
  • 25. Messages of this size undoubtedly have attachments.
  • 26. If the attached files are needed, save them to a disk or computer
  • 27. Then delete the message.
  • 28. Once you are done, don’t forget to empty your Deleted Items again.
