iPads are being used in schools to heighten student learning across all subjects as a research, creativity, and learning tool. Photos show iPads being used by special education students on virtual field trips, by physics students to build roller coasters, and by first grade students to improve word processing skills. The adoption of iPads in schools extends the incorporation of emerging technologies like iPhones and Kindles into daily classroom use.
