• Born on October 11,1884
  in NYC.
• Before Eleanor was 10 her
  mom,dad,and brother
  were all dead.
• She was raised by her
  grandmother,Mary Hall.
SChool

• At the age of 15 she went to a
  school in England.
• Her teacher was kind hearted
  and helped her build up her
  self confidence.
• Two years after she started
  school her uncle, Theodore
  Roosevelt, became
  president.
Adulthood
• Eleanor married Franklin
  Delano Roosevelt.
• They had 6 children.
• Franklin was elected
  president and Eleanor
  became first lady.
• Soon after, Eleanor had to
  help Franklin because he
  had polio.

• Eleanor helped with the
  rights of colored people.
• She was on the New York
  Democratic State
  Committee
deAth

• Eleanor died on
  November 11,1962.
• She died of old age.
Eleanor left behind a legacy of
no other.
