NIKE US Sports Camps Director Offers Pitching Tip forNIKE Softball CampsSan Rafael, CA (PRWEB) Selfconfidence December 05, 2012 US Sports Camps Director and Rochester Universitys head coach Margaret Yerdon-Grangestresses the importance for pitchers of staying composed on the mound and offers her expertiseon how controlling emotions needs to be incorporated into a pitchers practice.Having a pitcher that can control the game can make Selfconfidence the difference between agood team and a great team. Young pitchers need to learn that this begins in practice. We workhard to teach our pitchers that you play how you practice. That Selfconfidence means we needto bring the same intensity and focus to every pitching workout, Yerdon-Grange states. We alsowork hard to have our pitchers manage their emotions and body Selfconfidence language inpractice and games. Many pitchers become their own worst enemy and allow frustration todictate how they perform in a tight game. Working on this in practice by Selfconfidenceincorporating different pressure situation drills, or a tight strike zone will prepare them to keeptheir composure in a game. On game day we remind our pitchers to worry Selfconfidence aboutwhat they can control and to have a short memory on the mound!Last season, Coach Yerdon-Grange led her team to a 29-15 finish where Selfconfidence theymade the program’s 4th NCAA Appearance. During the season, the team won the LibertyLeague Tournament and four of Yerdon-Granges players were named to the NFCASelfconfidence All-Region Team. The team looks for another strong season in 2013.To get more tips and instruction for Coach Yerdon-Grange check out her NIKE Softball Camp atRochester University.About NIKE Softball CampsAt Nike Softball Camps every facet Selfconfidence of the game is covered – hitting, fielding, base running, team play and more.
