To do this you will need to learn new skills, expand your vision of what is possible, build new relationships and learn to overcome your fears, considerations and road blocks.
  15. 15.  A study of Harvard graduates found that after 20 years, the three percent of them who had written goals achieved more financially than the other 97% combined! "An average person with average talent, ambition and education, can outstrip the most brilliant genius in our society, if that person has clear, focused goals."
  16. 16.  3 things to understand about goals: › Considerations: all the reasons why goal is impossible. Work twice as hard, you could get hurt, may take too much time › Fears: rejection, failure, making a fool of yourself. › Roadblocks: don’t have the money, class my not be open, cant find a partner, time?
  17. 17.  DO NOT SEE CONSIDERATIONS, FEARS AND ROAD BLOCKS AS STOP SIGNS!!! LEARN TO DEAL WITH THEM. › In fact, they are supposed to appear if they don’t it means you have not set a goal big enough to stretch you and grow.
  18. 18. 1. Set a specific realistic goal and write it down.2. List the steps you will take to reach your goal. (visualization: 5 senses)3. Identify sources of help and support.4. What is it that you feel your family and friends ought to miss most about you and specifically mention in their eulogy? Think about it and then write these things down. Think about what would you want to be remembered for, what are the qualities which you would want to possess, which would characterize you even at your funeral. Scratch out the ones which you already feel you possess and work on acquiring the others
