  • 1. Christmas shorts It ’ s a parade, a Christmas parade! To celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It ’ s a parade, a Christmas parade! With marching bands, Festive floats and sparkling lights.

    • Christ was born in Bethlehem,
    • so let ’ s all praise

    • Our Savior and our King!

    • (EUGENE): Each year, as holiday season begins, there ’ s an air of anticipation and excitement as the colors of Christmas explode around us.
    • (Joshua 1 st grader ): and here are the Kids of Kingdom, to explain what the colors of Christmas repr esent.

    • (All puppets): Gold is the colors of kings. It reminds us that Jesus is the Son of God. He ’ s the King of kings and Lord of lords.
    • (All puppets): white represents the virgin birth and signifies the purity of Jesus, who was without sin.
  • 5.
    • (All puppets): the color red symbolizes the blood of our Savior, reminding us that only through Him are we saved from our sin.
    • (All puppets): green is for the new life we receive when we accept Christmas as our Savior.

    • Jesus Christ was born two thousand years ago.
    • A gift of God for everyone because He loves us so.
    • That little Baby became a man who died to set us free!
    • And those of us that follow Him have life eternally!

    • We decorate our homes, churches, and communities with an array of festive holiday finery.
    • These decorations add to the spirit of celebration and symbolize many truths we hold dear.

    • (Caroline) We decorate our homes each year with strings of shiny lights

    • (Sarah 1 st grader ) These remind us that Jesus Christ is the light of the World, that ’ s right!

    • (Claire) A candle placed on the window sill tells each passer by.
    • (all) passer by.
    • (Steven) That those who live inside this house are followers of Jesus Christ.

    • (Sarah 4 th grader ) A festive wreath with ribbons bright hanging on the door,
    • (all) on the door.
    • (Amanda) It ’ s a circle that has no end, just like the love of our Lord.

    • (Nathan) The Christmas tree of evergreen, a symbol of eternal life.
    • (all) Eternal life!
    • (Joshua 3 rd grader ) Its smell is sweet as our lives should be, pleasing in the Master ’ s sight!

    • Christmas in America is full of festive yule – tide cheer.

    • (Kaylie) The giving of gifts is a great American tradition. We search high and low to find that perfect gift for those we love.
    • (Ashley) But we all know the only perfect gift was given to us by God. He loved us so much that He gave us His only Son, Jesus.

    • (Aaron): And when we give presents to others, it reminds us of God ’ s precious gift.
    • (Ryan) Jesus is the gift that keeps on giving! With Christ in your heart, it ’ s Christmas everyday !

    • (James) As Christmas day draws near,people across America gather
    • with those they love to celebrate the bond of family and the birth of our Savior.
    • (Christian) Each family has special holiday traditions that have been passed from generation to generation. Let ’ s take a look! You know Kirk there ’ s nothing quite like Christmas in America. It ’ s the celebration of celebrations! (two move back, Ashley stays)

    • (Ashley) Families all together now, they bow their heads in prayer, thanks to the Lord above for His abundant care.
    • (Sarah 1 st grader ) The Bible read, Christ ’ s story told and then a little caroling. Cookies baked and stockings filled, and children sing with glee.

    • (Caroline & Claire) Presents wrapped with paper bright, and placed beneath the tree. Dinner ’ s served so very one gather around.
    • Let ’ s eat!

  • 22. Here we see the most meaningful of all Christmas traditions, the nativity. On our lawns , in our homes, and at our churches , nativities help to recreate the wonder , the miracle of that holy night. These beautiful nativities are a wonderful source of inspiration for us today . Mary and Joseph , the earthly parents of the Messiah , Stepped out in faith and obedience to God ’ s will. They inspire us to be willing , devoted servants of God .
