  • Bacon’s Castle I chose to intern at Bacon Castle based on the wide variety of training at the Site. Experiences gained from my internship include graceful customer service, effective marketing, & appropriate historic preservation practices. Preservation Virginia’s Bacons Castle is known for its extremely rare architectural features but also for encapsulating nearly four centuries of history at one Site! It is a landmark that I feel passionate about preserving for our community for years to come.
