  • Communication Manager with IT@AMP Provide an overview of the collaboration tools within AMP
  • But while it may sound like something magical from somewhere over the rainbow in never-never land, let me show you that it IS possible and then we will take a look at some of the things we have focused on at IT@AMP to help achieve this result.
  • Profile our senior leaders and provide a channel for our thought leaders Guest bloggers – encourage our leader and thought leaders develop their blogging/ communication skills 2 way dialogue Track topics of interest to our employees Create content that is searchable, permanent artifact that’s accessible to all employees
  • Provides an opportunity for our directors to express their personalities Two years + to create some traction – when the directors blog they get around 300-400 hits/page view – when compared to the external world of blogging they’re doing well.
  • Used by communities of practise – comms, hr, IT
  • Aggregation tool Call-out – Questions – feedback i.e. craig ryman blog Got initial traction because senior managers used it to send updates from overseas Like blogs – we need compelling content to drive user participation
  • 18 Sony Camcorders Script writing &amp; film editing workshops 34 films entered 12 showcased at the IT@AMP end of year event But be patient it took over a year – and the comms team chamioning and using rich media for the user generated component to take off
  • An example of how we use rich media Teams are asking to borrow the camera’s (non in the cupboard at the moment) Or buying them themselves.
  • Providing employees with an opportunity to experiment in a non-work related environment provides a safe place experiment – and helps employees to learn how to us the new applications/new technology Launched to coincide with world creativity week.
  • Experiment Externally hostedCross team collaboration – team updates Project updates Building on the success of the film festival
  • Enterprise wide innovation platform designed to develop/create growth ideas/innovations Providing structure and seed funding for employee ideas
