Inkscape is fantastic Free and Open Source Graphic Software. Easy to learn as well as a powerful tool for creating icons, web graphics and diagrams, and enhancing charts, maps and graphs generated by spreadsheets, or mindmapping applications. How can a drawing program be used across the curriculum? ICT tools enhance every endeavour, and numerous studies show that combining images with text aids learning and knowledge retention. Creating images to illustrate concepts and ideas that can be used in your teaching materials, and encourage students to add images to their work too. Best of all, Inkscape is Free and can be used at home as well as at school.

This is an interactive workshop that requires a computer lab,or a BYO laptop lab. Participants need to have a mouse.
