    2. Solution Description
      • Include a brief statement (ideally, one paragraph) that articulates what the value proposition of the offering is. Value propositions (or positioning statements) can be articulated in various formats, so please feel free to use your current format.
      • Include an overview of the solution (not a description of the offering). Be sure to include the following items in your description:
        • Why is it important? What is the problem we are solving?
        • What is our solution?
        • How does our solution specifically address the problems mentioned above?
        • What is the goal/objective of our solution?
        • How is our program delivered/offered?
        • Any other information that may be useful in gaining a better understanding of the solution.
    3. Competitive Assessment
      • Who are the major competitors in the marketplace and how does our offering compare?
        • Be sure to include product/service attributes, delivery, pricing, reputation, etc…
      • What makes our offering different from our competition?
        • What do we do that they don't?
        • What do they do better than us?
        • How do they sell and position their technology or service?
      • What’s the Value Add over the Competitor?
    4. Offering Description
      • Describe the offering. Include the following detail:
        • What are the specific products/services that comprise the solution?
        • What is goal/objectives of each product/service solution? (e.g. for e-learning courses provide the learning objective)
        • Why is the product/service an important component of the overall solution?
        • What other products/services will help support the sale of this technology to our target customers?
        • What is the benefit of using the product/service?
        • What need does this product/service fill for our target customers?
        • Who is the target audience for the product/service?
      • What Solution Line will this product/service be included in?
        • Test Development
        • Test Delivery
        • Data Management
    5. Technical Description
      • Describe the technical architecture of the product/service
        • Include Function, upgrade schedules, basic and advanced configurations
        • Interfaces with products
        • Other dependencies
      • Technical limits of the Product
      • How will Company ABC deploy this to support the Customer’s need
    6. Implementation Process
      • Include the following:
        • How is the product/service implemented and utilized by the client’s environment? What implementation assistance is provided as part of the contract?
        • What steps need to be taken to launch the product/service within the channel and market? Are there any technical requirements that need to be met?
        • What happens post-launch? What follow-up, support should the client expect?
        • What is not included in the implementation process?
    7. International Impact
      • Where is this product/service available internationally?
      • Are there rollout differences?
        • What is the rollout schedule?
        • Is international rollout parallel with domestic rollout?
      • Are other technology or service options available for EMEA/Asia?
      • Is the Value Add different?
      • Are the competitive technologies or services different?
      • Other considerations
        • Marketing, legal, support, revenue management, etc
    8. New or Changed Organizational Processes
      • Describe and define the Impact/Changes on the Organizational Processes
        • Does selling this solution require specific approvals?
        • Are there specific SMEs to engage during the sales cycle?
        • Is there a lead time for implementation?
        • Does this require a special Support Model?
    9. Pricing
      • Please include a price guide document with all appropriate supporting materials (e.g. discount structures).
    10. Essential Elements
      • Please include items that will enable the salesperson to conduct an effective sales call. Possible items to include are:
        • Client Presentation
        • Product/service demo instructions
        • Objection Handling & Questioning
        • Marketing Collateral / Sales Materials
    11. Market Research
      • Include items such as white papers, articles, trends, analyst info, etc.
    12. Success Stories
      • Please provide a case study of a successful rollout of the product/service within the client’s environment.
    13. Selling Process
      • What is contract process? Provide detailed, step-by-step instructions for selling and closing a deal.
      • Include contract/account set-up requirements.
      • Be sure to include all relevant forms, documents, templates, and instructions.
