The analysis is done on data taken from sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Foursquare, and measures the size of a person s network, the content created and how other people interact with that content.Prior to KLOUT, no other company had tried to tackle thespace of Internet influence and as a result, KLOUT hasbecome the de facto standard of online influence. KLOUT compiles social network data and creates profiles on individuals, assigning them to a KLOUT score.
