Each of the following slides (sometimes there are two) will focus on one of these nine information needs. Each slide contains a number of key questions that will allow you to “drill down” to the client’s specific information needs. STRATEGIC PLANNING What are the right business strategies? Are we optimizing the investments in our business? MARKET SIZING What is the overall size of the market? BUILDING SHARE How can we build our market share? NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Where are our new product opportunities? DISTRIBUTION & PRODUCT PLACEMENT How can we improve our distribution and product placement? MERCHANDISING & ASSORTMENT How can we improve our merchandising and product assortment? COMPETITION What are our competitors doing? You should also consider inserting one or more data charts that illustrate how NPD information can help to address some of these questions (some examples are included in this deck, but these will of course need to be customized to your specific situation.)
