    1.
    2. Reinventing Web Collaboration
    3. Web collaboration is a billion dollar business populated by some of the world’s most innovative companies.
    4. It has produced software and services from some of the best minds in the industry.
    5. It’s forecasted to grow exponentially over the next few years.
    6. So why on Earth would we say ? it needs to be re-invented
    7. In our view, the entire industry is only focused on half the problem.
    8. In our view, the entire industry is only focused on half the problem. And we think it is actually the least important half .
    9. Let us explain:
    10. 2 There are two parts to great collaboration.
    11. Structured Collaboration First,
    12. Collaboration that happens at pre-arranged times or in pre-arranged places.
    13. Typically there is a specific agenda. (or competing agendas) Agenda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Agenda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Agenda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Agenda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Agenda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    14. You may be: - working through a list - updating people on status - or giving a presentation
    15. Essentially, this is collaboration that happens within a meeting.
    16. But, as we all know, meetings are often the bane of getting real work done.
    17. Not only that, but they also disrupt the reduce productivity rather than enhance it. natural flow and rhythms of work, and tend to
    18. Yet this is where the entire web collaboration category is currently focused.
    19. And instead of using technology to improve things... we may be using technology to amplify the problems.
    20. started from a different place ™
    21. Yugma can be used for structured collaboration... but it is uniquely suited for the second type of collaboration
    22. Fluid Collaboration
    23. Fluid collaboration is the type of collaboration that tends to produce the greatest returns.
    24. This is collaboration that takes place through small spontaneous interactions.
    25. Collaboration that is spread out over time
    26. Collaboration that happens anywhere
    27. Collaboration that involves different people thinking about and working on the same thing in different ways.
    28. Collaboration that happens when people are in sync, on the same page. Linked in thought
    29. Ultimately, this type of collaboration is a state of being , rather than a physical or virtual space.
    30. In fact that’s what Yugma means:
    31. A Sanskrit word that describes a state of togetherness; a sharing of thought; the richness that results from a confluence . Yugma:
    32. And because of that, Yugma was built to work differently
    33. Instead of being an intermittent application (like Webex or Go-To-Meeting )... Yugma has been designed to be a persistent application (like AIM or Skype ). ™
    34. Instead of being expensive and geared for corporations... Yugma makes collaboration affordable for individuals and business of all sizes.
    35. Whether working on PC, Mac or Linux. Whether collaborating on the web, social networks or corporate internets. Yugma works across platforms. ™
    36. Without hours of training or the need for constant tech support. And Yugma is easy enough for individuals to use.
    37. Yugma allows you to share your thoughts and ideas as they happen .
    38. Yugma breaks down tedious and unproductive meetings into smaller, on-the-fly interactions.
    39. It enables ideas to be built upon over time and outside of a schedule .
    40. rather than asking us to adapt how we work to it. Yugma was built to enrich how we naturally work ...
    41. Yugma brings together for the first time, both structured collaboration and fluid collaboration
    42. And we think that enhances how you work
    43. who you work with
    44. and what you are able to create.
